Matchlist (a list of people who match your
commute)
Looking for someone to carpool? Don’t know anyone who shares your
commute? It’s now easier than ever to find someone who shares your
commute. Capitol Rideshare and ShareTheRide.com offer an online,
innovative, free ridematching service that provides you an easy way
to find others in the Valley who are interested in sharing the ride
to work in a carpool or vanpool. Consider carpooling once a week to
start. And, if you like it, do it even more often.
In partnership with Valley Metro at www.ShareTheRide.com, we are
offering State employees more options by tying in with this system.
Doing an online matchlist is quick, easy, and fun! By entering some
basic information, you will receive a matchlist, complete with a
map, that shows you who may be available to carpool. It is important
that you use your work email address when logging on. It is quick,
safe, and easy to use. When you are finished obtaining your
matchlist, use your "back button" to come back to this site. It is
completely confidential and safe!
For those employees who would rather we do the matchlist for them,
we will be happy to continue to offer this service. You will need to
call our office or fill out a paper application form (found in Rideshare Review
newsletters and other Capitol Rideshare materials). We are always available to help you in any way we
can. And, should you make a match and decide to start carpooling,
make sure you fill out the application here on OUR website (or fill
out a paper one) to obtain a parking permit and your free Commuter
Club membership.
